Tough competitions and great food will converge at the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) Elite Trophy Zhuhai and Savour Food Festival at the Hengqin International Tennis Center from Nov 1 to 6. 

Multiple record-holder and international tennis ace Steffie Graf will act as the global image ambassador this year. She will appear on site with about a dozen top-seeded international players.

Promising to serve locals and improve the personal viewing experience, the WTA Elite Trophy this year will join with the food festival to offer affordable packages. Sponsors say that market competitiveness and quality performance are meant to encourage those from around the globe to watch top-level competitions and experience the charm of tennis on site.

A common food ticket package for one person is priced at 200 yuan ($30), with three vouchers worth 60 yuan ($9) each, an admission ticket, and an official limited gift. Greater discounts will be offered for two- and three-person packages, price at 340 yuan ($51) and 480 yuan ($72) respectively. Besides, combined packages including both tennis and food tickets will be much cheaper, with the minimum cost only at 224 yuan ($33).

The Savour Food Festival, which is sweeping Asia, was once honored by CNN Travel Channel as one of the best culinary fairs in the world. It has attracted more than 100,000 participants in the recent years. Zhuhai becomes the fourth city in China to hold the event after Shanghai, Chengdu, and Hong Kong. 

Organized by Huafa Group, the festival will offer dishes from around the globe made on site by six head chefs of Michelin star restaurants. Two domestically famous restaurants will also offer special dishes. The food zone, musical stage performances, and brand exhibitions all portend a superior experience of catering, recreation, and entertainment.
