The Patrouille Acrobatique de France, the aerobatic demonstration team of the French Air Force, was founded on Feb 10, 1964.
The aerial display team currently flies the Dassault/Dornier Alpha Jet with all its aircraft painted in three colors of blue, white, and red -- same colors as the French national flag -- representing bourgeoisie, nobility, and clergy respectively.
The aerobatic performance team made a debut at Airshow China on Oct 24, 2004, displaying thrilling aerial ballet for about 35 minutes using eight Alpha Jets.
