Grand MixC in Hengqin adds luxury beauty element
Global trader Hengqin Grand MixC signed a 20,000-sq-m Beauty Park contract with Asia Beauty Group Holding Co Ltd on Sept 27 to provide one-stop fashion-leading cosmetic services to female consumers.
On behalf of Hengqin Grand MixC Development, Mu Lisen, general manager of China Resources Land Ltd (CR Land), Zhuhai, signed the deal with Asia Beauty Fashion Holding's Hiroshi H. Miyamura at the Grand MixC Exhibit Center.
Miyamura is one of the top Japanese fashion magnates and hairstylists and owner of popular salon chain Afloat. The fashion icon is to contribute much to the park's professional orientation as will the array of world-famous beauty brands to be brought in through introductions and integration of top-notch domestic and foreign industry resources, especially in Asia.
Advantages of both partners are expected to create a dream fashion world. The multidimensional venue will contain hairdressing, beauty salons, nail and body care spas, catering, wedding services, photography resources, a theme hotel, and media center. They and other fashion elements will locate in 10 themed areas, according to a spokesperson.

Hengqin Grand MixC is a 50-billion-yuan ($7.5 billion) mixed-use new city center with floorage of more than 2 million sq m. It consists of industrial, business, and living centers focusing on boutique trade and exhibitions, healthcare, cultural and creative outlets, and hi-tech industries. Mixc is involved in online and offline trade, exhibitions and fairs, wholesale and retail, and a headquarters economy.
CR Land, a major Chinese real estate developer, Macao-based San Fong Wang Property Development & Investment Co Ltd, and CR Trust are developing the beauty park, anticipating completion in 2018.
The complex has also nailed down an international fashion town, global sports center, companies in high-tech finance and new economic industries, and medical and health projects including medical technology and recuperation aesthetics. Partners include Valeria Lanaro Enterprise, Ego Group Co Ltd, Golden Maple Holdings Pte Ltd, China Resources Healthcare Group Ltd (CR Healthcare), and other domestic and international companies.
At the signing ceremony were representatives from San Fong Wang Property Development & Investment; Mami Sakamoto, general manager of CITIC Guoan Jiazhao Investment Consulting Co Ltd; Steven Haines, adviser to Miss Universe, and other beauty industry leaders.
