The 5th Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical University, Zhuhai

The 5th Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical University, Zhuhai, is an affiliated hospital directly subordinate to Zunyi Medical University. The modern comprehensive third-grade clinical and educational hospital integrates medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention and cure. In September 2003, Zhuhai Doumen District People's Government cooperated with Zunyi Medical University to establish the hospital on the foundation of Doumen People's Hospital. 

The Zhuhai Doumen People's Hospital was founded in 1964. The provincial and municipal civilized unit was awarded as national second-grade class-A hospital in 1994 and passed appraisal of national baby friendly hospital in 1995. 

The old site covering 19,230 sq m is located at Gangxia East Road of Jing'an Town in Doumen District. It is being reconstructed into the largest health center integrating medical treatment, recovery and senior nursing in Zhuhai's western area. The new site with 1,000 beds is at the Zhufeng Avenue in Doumen District, covering 88,365 sq m with a floor area of about 73,013 sq m.
