Hero Island in Hengqin soon to immerse guests in 5D
The first tourist attraction in the country to integrate 5D original animation with themed amusement, Hero Island will open at Chimelong International Ocean Tourist Resort in Hengqin New Area in late July.
The themed zone on Hengqin Island will restore the scene of mascot KaKa's Great Adventure -- an original short-film animation produced by Chimelong Group. In store for visitors are thrilling amusement rides and visual effects. Actors will wear fairytale costumes, singing and dancing in anime tones to engage everyone in the 5D world.
"You will find yourself in the fantastic world of the mascot KaKa surrounded by the performance crew and buildings that come alive using space and lights," advises Chimelong.

Parent-child amusement rides -- Samba Tower and the Penguin and Jungle rollercoasters -- are reproductions of characters or plots. They will lead tourists to fight with the Devil Magma while passing through a jungle and snow mountain just as Kaka does in the film.
In addition to the new themed zone, nighttime performances at Chimelong Ocean Kingdom are being upgraded this month. Fireworks show Ocean Resistance will be joined by an unmanned aerial vehicle team that was once part of the Zhuhai sub-venue of the Spring Festival Gala.
More than 100 drones will form a red dragon flying high and constantly changing. Below the dragon, stunt-aviators dressed in luminous clothes will flip over the water, dazzling one and all.
