Aoyuan Plaza, Zhuhai's first large-scale urban shopping, catering, leisure, and entertainment complex developed by China Aoyuan Property Group, opened to the public on Meijie Road across Meixi Royal Stone Archways in Qianshan on July 21.

With floorage of 456,000 sq m (113 acres), the facility has 125,000 sq m (31 acres) for business area. Inclusive are more than 100 internationally and domestically renowned brands, over 27 percent of them new to Zhuhai.

In addition to top-billed AEON Supermarket, Cafe Cinema, and Century Star Skating Rink with Zhuhai's first ice surface, the plaza shops sell luxurious brands such as Armani Exchange, Calvin Klein Jeans, See By Chloe, Adolfo Dominguez, and Ray-Ban.

Opening ceremony

The second phase, which will debut by yearend, will have five floors, including Tattoo Fair, Love Zhuhai Most, Seed Cathedral, A Bite of Lingnan, and Culinary Delicacy stores. Proposed are fashionable fairs, music diet bars, themed bookstores, cultural and creative stores, and restaurants, among other attractions.
