An eclectic mix of rock, popular, and indie music will be performed at Haibin Beach (City Parlor) in Jida during the Oct 1-2 Zhuhai International Beach (Shark) Music Festival 2018.

Popular Chinese singer-songwriter Hua Chenyu, band Second Hand Rose, folk singer Chen Hongyu, and Hong Kong singer Paul Wong Koon-chung will stage shows, according to a press conference on Aug 18.

The music will bring many elements of a grand-scale music festival to the beach. Thousands will attend from all over the region, so stages and other facilities are being prepared to accommodate them and ensure their safety.

The event is sponsored by Huafa Industrial Share and Huafa Cultural Communications.

Now in its 16th year, the Zhuhai International Beach Festival has grown into a huge draw for tourists and locals by maintaining high professional standards. It was named one of the top 10 Zhuhai Cultural Cards last year.
