Tangjiawan-based Guangdong No 2 Provincial People's Hospital celebrated the 3rd anniversary of partnering with the Zhuhai National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone Administrative Committee on Sept 8.

A plaque designating a Grade-II Class-A Hospital, the first ever in the zone and second highest of China's three-tier grading system, was unveiled at the ceremony.

The Zhuhai Branch of the China (GD) Emergency Medical Rescue Team and Zhuhai High-Tech Zone Emergency Medical Rescue Team were established concurrently. Also opened was the Cooperation & Exchange Center through which the hospital will consult with the South China Famous Doctors' Alliance.

The general hospital, founded in 1964, provides integrated services including medical treatment, disease prevention, healthcare, and rehabilitation while also emphasizing education and scientific research.
