Doumen District is being readied to delight everyone with diversified fun activities during the upcoming National Day holiday.

2018 Doumen Lianjiang Countryside Music Festival

First of several enticing events during this Golden Week, the festival will take place at Shili Lianjiang Agriculture Sightseeing & Experience Garden on Oct 1 and 2. Ten bands with highly popular singers will entertain with distinct brands of musical spectacles.

Lianjiang Countryside Music & Art Festival

Child play, dances, catwalks, musical instrument performance, magic, and more will be held at the small stage of the Shili Lianjiang Agriculture Sightseeing & Experience Garden.

In addition, painting, photographing, parent-child play, games, and other activities can be enjoyed in the far-stretching paddy fields.

In the meantime, Doumen-featured handicraft gifts, free tasting of delicacies, creative market, hand-painting arts will be joined by acting figures of Pet Land and Adventure Kingdom for leisure time.

2018 Doumen Food Festival

Try indigenous delicacies, dried fish or shrimp, Famous Chinese Snacks from around the country, and much more at 150 booths.

Highly Doumen-featured culinary delicacies such as Dachikan Open Flame Roast Pork, Hengshan Preserved Duck Bundles, Doumen Double-Shelled Crab, and Baijiao Sea Bass will be served at the festival.

Yu Wen Quan Imperial Hot Springs Feast Fair

Experience deep-rooted Lingnan folk custom Great-Grandfather Dividing the Pork -- meaning everyone gets a share -- taste private-menu local food and pastries made by a French chef while enjoying healing effects at the hot springs resort. Also learn to knead plasticine, create sugar drawings, or partake in other DIY sessions.

Nan'ao Holiday Resort Field Camping

The field camping (bring or rent the tent) will offer archery, boating, egg hunts, rice powder grinding, specialties springing, Hakka glutinous rice cake DIY, grain painting, open-air movies, and other outdoor activities.

First Zhuhai (Doumen) Campsite Cultural Festival

Barbecue, RV camping, fruit and vegetable picking, fireworks, bonfires, kite assembly, flower appreciation, photographing, plus delicacies: cray, mud-baked chicken, dendrobium dishes, fruits and drinks. Also on offer will be illustrations of dendrobium culture, kite painting, and preparing mud-baked chicken.
