Public transport made best way to get to Airshow China
The 12th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China) will prioritize public transport and intelligent service, according to a press conference on Sept 26. Some 380,000 people will descend upon Zhuhai for the Nov 6-11 event.
More than a thousand buses will operate on nine dedicated routes to the Zhuhai Airshow Center in Jinwan District. Pick-up points are Xiangzhou Bus Terminal in Old Xiangzhou, the east gate of Zhuhai Sports Center in New Xiangzhou, Jiuzhou Town and Jiuzhou Port Ferry Terminal in Jida, Zhuhai Station of the Guangzhou-Zhuhai Intercity MRT in Gongbei, Qianshan Hub Station, Huafa Mall in Nanping, Doumen Bus Terminal, and Zhuhai International Circuit in Tangjiawan.
For the first time, visitors with tickets can reserve any of the dedicated lines using the Zhuhai Transport WeChat ID: zhuhaijiaotong and navigate to the most convenient bus stop. They can catch a ride using QR code.
In addition, eight major cities in Guangdong Province will run direct shuttle bus lines to the Zhuhai Airshow Center. They include Guangzhou, Shunde, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, Foshan, Zhaoqing, Huizhou, and Yangjiang.

Zhuhai and Shenzhen will increase the frequency of ferries commuting between Shekou and Jiuzhou ports, and extend service hours.
Traffic control will be implemented in areas south of Jinhai'an Avenue and Jinwan Interchange on Airport Road during Airshow China public days, when only buses, tour coaches, shuttle buses, taxis, or other means of public transit are allowed access.
Meanwhile, Zhuhai and Jiuzhou avenues, and South Yingbin and West Remin roads will have dedicated bus lanes to serve the exhibition.
The air show will sell tickets online up to a daily limit of 80,000. Visitors are encouraged to buy group tickets from travel agencies and take tour coaches to the venue.
