Chimelong adds thrilling rides to celebrate National Day
Two additional roller coasters and a tower-based amusement ride will run at the theme entertainment zone of Hero Island at Chimelong International Ocean Tourist Resort during the Oct 1-7 National Day holiday.
One of eight fun-filled theme zones in the park, Hero Island uses unique amusement facilities featured in KaKa's Great Adventure -- a five-directional short-film animation -- to create an immersive experience.
The pioneering product has been widely improved through constant innovations, according to Wu Daming, deputy general manager of Chimelong Ocean Kingdom.

The newly added Tower of Sea Monsters is synchronized with visual effects as it lifts and rotates. The Forest and Penguin roller coasters are both family-friendly. The additions began soft operations at the Hengqin New Area facility on Sept 27 -- World Tourism Day.
What's more, the first five vacation days will see fireworks shows twice daily, combining them with a colorful fountain at 8 pm. The Ocean Resistance performance will follow at 9 pm with a display of more than 100 drones flying in union.
