PGA Tour is a world-class professional golf competition played primarily by men in the United States and North America. It established the PGA Tour Series-China in 2014 as the third international developmental event after PGA Tour Canada and PGA Tour Latinoamérica.
Zhuhai Championship, the penultimate stop of this year's PGA Tour Series-China, saw 120 contestants from 19 countries and regions, including the US, England, South Korea, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and China, vying for a pool of 1.5 million yuan ($216,744) during the four-day competition.
They will then go on to the season-ending 2-million-yuan ($289,025) Clearwater Bay Open in Hong Kong, where the top five on the final order of merit will earn spots on next year's Web.com Tour. The top 10 will enter the final stage of the Dec 6-9 Web.com Tour Qualifying Tournament, while those place 11th to 25th are eligible to compete in the second stage of the qualifying tournament.
