A warm-up for the "Amour"-themed eminent Beishan Jazz Festival will bring sensual rhythms, high energy, and feverish frenzy to Hengqin on Oct 12 and 13.

The thrilling collision of romance and passion will be staged from 6:30 pm to 9 pm at Hengqin International Advertisement & Creativity Industrial Park in Inno Valley HQ.

Thirteen musicians from the US, Canada, Austria, Norway, and Finland will interpret jazz classics in different forms and styles. Guests include the Montreal hard-swinging jazz outfit B's Bees, Norwegian jazz pianists Espen Berg Trio, and Finnish Kari Ikonen Trio.

The Beishan Jazz Festival 2018 will take place in Goodone at the former Beishan Theater in Nanping Town from 7 pm to 10 pm on Oct 14.

Beishan Village currently hosts two popular musical events each year, the Beishan World Music Festival in summer and Beishan Jazz Festival in autumn.

Founded in 2010, the Jazz Festival is a private enterprise-funded local musical and cultural brand. It has invited more than 200 musicians from over 50 countries and regions to perform in Zhuhai over the past nine years and is now hailed as one of the top three jazz music festivals in China.
