Ticket prices for all 182 Zhuhai public bus routes were reduced to 1 yuan (14 cents) on Nov 18 and mileage-based fares have been abolished in order to promote green travel and ease traffic pressure.

At the same time, Tram Line 1 also saw its ticket piece cut from 2 yuan (29 cents) to 1 yuan.    

Those with standard, student, or senior bus cards, however, still enjoy favorable prices at .9 yuan (13 cents), .6 yuan (9 cents) and free.
