We're quite happy to live here, Zhuhai people affirm
Zhuhai is one of China's top 10 happiest cities, Oriental Outlook Magazine announced in Guangzhou on Nov 26. A survey sponsored by the publication found that residents are pleased with education, healthcare, income, the environment, public services, security, future expectations, and other matters.
Wang Qiguang, deputy chief editor of Oriental Outlook Magazine, announced that Zhuhai is highly rated in education, healthcare, and transportation. Its appeal, he added, will increase as the rapidly developing Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area reaps benefits from the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.

The nine other happiest cities this year are Chengdu of Sichuan Province, Ningbo and Hangzhou of Zhejiang Province, Xi'an of Shaanxi Province, Nanjing of Jiangsu Province, Guangzhou of Guangdong Province, Changsha of Hunan Province, Taizhou of Zhejiang, and Tongchuan of Shaanxi.
More than 12 million people were canvassed for their opinions for the 12th consecutive year. Ninety-six cities at prefecture level and beyond and 101 county-level cities participated nationwide.
The influential urban survey is based on an evaluation system developed by Liaowang Think Tank. Baidu Business Intelligence Lab (BIL) helped to analyze sample results by providing big data technology.
