Yin Chengzong piano concert
One of the most renowned Chinese pianists in the world, Yin Chengzong will bring his piano-accompanied version of The Legend of the Red Lantern, a modern Peking opera, to the Zhuhai stage. It is about how three generations of a family struggled to fight against the invaders during the anti-Japanese war.
Yin was the first Chinese to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York, one of the most prestigious music venues in the world. In 1980, he was listed in the New Grove Dictionary as one of the four most important Chinese artists, along with Nie Er, Xian Xihai, and Ma Sicong.
