Photographs of how Zhuhai has evolved over four decades of Reform & Opening Up are being displayed on the first floor of Huafa Mall's Hall B on Zhuhai Avenue, Nanping and will be shown through Dec 13.

More than 180 pictures are categorized as either Evolving Maps Talk, Historic Moments, Changes & Marks, or A New Look for the Zhuhai Special Economic Zone.

The first three categories focus on historical moments that impacted maps and cityscapes. The final category showcases refinements in urban landscapes.

An ever-expanding Zhuhai is represented by 45 photos divided into 20 sets. They focus on Xiangzhou Central Urban Area, Xianglu Bay, Zhuhai Avenue, and Gongbei in Xiangzhou District -- the city's downtown.

According to an executive of Zhuhai Urban Construction Archives, some of the exhibits were collected from old photographers, journalists, and culture and history experts.

The exhibition is sponsored by the Zhuhai Housing & Urban-Rural Planning & Construction Bureau with support from the International Urban Livability Zhuhai Research Center.
