Steps outlined to redeem online HZMB shuttle ticket
Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge shuttle bus tickets purchased via WeChat can now be refunded online, less cancellation fee, up until they have been printed.
To redeem a ticket:
Scan QR code or follow WeChat account: hzmbus:
Click on ticket information received after purchase
Click "I want to refund the ticket" (我要退票)at bottom of page
Choose reason for wanting refund
There are five options to be selected from as reasons for a refund, from top to bottom: "repeat purchase," "wrong bus," "too expensive," "no longer need the ticket," and "others."
Click "Confirm refund" at the bottom (确认退款)
Dialog box will state that the refund has been made
Anyone who books a ticket online can also get a refund at staffed counters after scanning the QR code to print it.
Those who buy tickets at staffed counters or self-ticketing machines may refund tickets only at service counters.
Tickets must be refunded at service counters in the area corresponding to currency used; specifically, CNY-valued tickets shall be refunded on the Chinese Mainland, HKD-valued tickets in Hong Kong, and MOP-valued in Macao.
Cancellation charges:
Overdue tickets cannot be refunded.
Ten percent of the ticket price will be charged if it is refunded within 30 minutes of buying it.
Fifty percent will be charged if the ticket is refunded after 30 minutes.
The cancellation fee will be rounded off to a whole number.
No cancellation fees will be charged in the event of emergencies (not limited to typhoons, rainstorms, and other natural disasters or circumstances beyond human control) that impede buses. Tickets should be refunded within seven days after being purchased or after an emergency occurs.
