Several buses to bridge are suspended on holiday eve

A few bus routes leading to and from Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Zhuhai Port will be closed the night of Monday, Feb 4 while people are having New Year's Eve reunions and dinner with families.

The stoppages do not affect travel between Zhuhai and Hong Kong via the bridge on the first two days of the weeklong Spring Festival holiday.

According to HZMB Zhuhai Port’s announcement on WeChat, bus services for Shangchong (上冲), Sports Center (体育中心), Xiangzhou Bus Terminal (香洲总站), Nanping (南屏), and Hengqin Chimelong (横琴长隆) special lines will be suspended between 5 pm, Feb 4 and 9 am, Feb 5 although the Gongbei (拱北) special line will continue service.

Long-distance buses to Zhuhai Airport (珠海机场), Zhongshan Fuhua Bus Station (中山富华), Zhongshan Bus Terminal (中山总站), Xinhui (新会) District of Jiangmen City, and Maoming (茂名) City will run on reduced schedules on Feb 4 and 5. Others leading to Shunde (顺德) City, Sanshui District (三水) of Foshan City, and Yangxi County (阳西) of Yangjiang (阳江) City will be suspended completely during the two days and will resume operations on Feb 6.

HZMB shuttle buses, Hong Kong-bound through buses, seven-seat business-purpose vehicles, and other buses to and from HZMB Zhuhai Port will operate as normal.

From now until June 30, fees for any vehicle parked in the P2 lot at HZMB Zhuhai Port are capped at 100 yuan ($15) a day while hourly rates are unchanged.
