Delightful lanterns, traditional artistic performances, and rewarding games and riddles will be enjoyed under the Lantern Festival full moon in Jinding of the Zhuhai National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone (Tangjiawan) from 6:30 to 9 pm today, Feb 19.

Falling on the 15th day of the first lunar month, Lantern Festival (元宵节 yuán xiāo jié)  brings Chinese New Year to a climax. It marks the traditional return of spring and symbolizes family reunion.

Lions add to the excitement of Lantern Festival

The development zone Social Security & Public Service Bureau and (Tangjiawan Town) Cultural Center organized the Lantern Fair for the 14th time.

Song-and-dance performances will be held in the evening followed by a Grand Garden Party with many prizes. Participants will guess riddles, bowl, play basketball, fish for toys, and take part in tosses. Picking out intangible cultural heritage items from Tangjiawan correctly will be another way to earn prizes.

The Jinding Civil Arts Center (金鼎市民艺术中心) is located near Jinding Market (金鼎市场) west of Shenghuangtou Street (圣皇头街).
