St. Patrick's Day, named in honor of the patron saint of Ireland, is a cultural and religious celebration held annually on March 17. The festival commemorates the arrival of Christianity in Ireland and celebrates Irish heritage and culture.
It is customary to wear green clothing or accessories, and throughout the world, Irish or not, folks don't leave home without some emerald in their attire, even if hidden from sight. This is one of the most celebrated national festivals, involving parades, galas, grand feasts of food, drinks, dance, and music. Out of respect for the leprechauns, even green hats may be worn without shame.
The Irish Clover, Zhuhai's true Irish Bar, gives an authentic taste of the country through both its extensive menu of delicacies and friendly atmosphere with welcoming staff. It is gearing up for its biggest party of the year on Saturday, March 16.
Warmup begins at 11 am with a full Irish breakfast. Followed are kid’s activities, face-painting, and dancing from noon to 3 pm. Cheerful, dynamic, live music will resonate from 5 pm onward. The first climax will come with a show by Gordon & Toni at 8 pm, accompanied by traditional Irish dances. The Craic Heads will play Irish favorites to keep the party going into the wee hours.
