Zhuhai Airport to charge for parking beginning June 1
Motorists leaving their cars at Zhuhai (Jinwan) Airport will be charged parking fees starting June 1 due to increased passenger volume and space limitations caused by nearby construction.
Passenger vehicles with 20 seats or fewer and trucks of 2 tons or below will be charged 5 yuan ($74 cent) per hour up to 50 yuan ($7.40) for any given 24-hour period. Passenger vehicles with more than 20 seats and trucks of over 2 tons will be charged 10 yuan ($1.50) per hour up to 100 yuan ($14.90) for any 24-hour period.
Travelers driving to the airport are currently exempt from parking fees for the first three days (except holidays and the China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition period) upon presentation of a round-trip boarding pass.
