Zhuhai People's Hospital (Zhūhǎi Shì Rénmín Yīyuàn) will have an additional 460 ward beds and over 600 parking spaces once the Medical Technology & Rehabilitation and Scientific Research Complex buildings are completed.

Preliminary work has begun on the Scientific Research Complex Building (Second North Area). It will have air emergency, imaging and reproduction centers as well as ICU and operating rooms, 400 ward beds, and 600 parking spaces.

The three-story Medical Technology & Rehabilitation Building, designed with internationally advanced diagnostic equipment and treatment technology, is already under construction. It alone will provide 60 beds upon completion of the project by March 2020. There will also be a rooftop parking lot which will take advantage of the terrain height difference.

Zhuhai People's Hospital has formed a medical and health complex comprising its headquarters in the city center (north of Xianglu Bay and south of Fengbo Mountain at 79 Kangning Road, Wanzaisha in Old Xiangzhou) and branches in Hengqin New Area, Gaolan Port Economic Zone, Wanshan Island, and Zhuhai Customs Court. According to a hospital official, there will eventually be three other units featuring constantly improving healthcare services and streamlined management procedures.
