High-speed trains begin travel to Beijing as of July 10

Daily high-speed railway trains between Beijing and Zhuhai will start running on July 10 when the national schedule for the third quarter of this year comes into effect.

Trains G68 and G65 that connect Guangzhou South with Beijing West railway stations will by then have extended their terminuses to Zhuhai.

The G68 will leave Zhuhai Railway Station in Gongbei at 10:11 am daily. It will traverse Zhongshan, Guangzhou South, Shaoguan, Changsha South, Wuhan, Zhengzhou East, and Shijiazhuang before arriving in Beijing at 9:10 pm. The G65 will leave Beijing at 10:33 am and arrive in Zhuhai at 9:28 pm.

Tickets for second-, first-, and business-class seats will cost 932.5 yuan ($136), 1,470 yuan ($215) and 2,929 yuan ($428) respectively.

At present, Beijing-bound travelers can take the D924 on weekends or transfer halfway.
