The bells of the extraordinary French musical Notre-Dame de Paris will chime at the Zhuhai Huafa & CPAA Grand Theatre during the last three days of November. Tickets are on sale with 25-percent early bird discounts available until July 28.

Composer Riccardo Cocciante and lyricist Luc Plamondon's Notre-Dame de Paris is based on the 1831 Victor Hugo novel The Hunchback of Notre-Dame. It has been an enormous French hit, both on stage and in record stores, where the original-cast album topped the charts. Since its debut on Sept 16, 1998, the French production sold out engagements across the world and has been translated into eight languages, receiving acclaim from 23 countries.

The stage spectacular employs an international ensemble of singers, dancers, and acrobats to tell the tale of hunchbacked bell-ringer Quasimodo and his tragic love for the gypsy, Esmeralda.

Following the opening of Notre-Dame De Paris, the production was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records 2000 for record success for a musical during its first year and became a multi-award winner and one of the top four legendary musicals in the world.
