The 100-million-yuan ($14.55 million) nutrition-themed mixed-use By-Health Nutrition Exploratorium opened to the public in Sanzao Town of Jinwan District on July 23.

Many industry experts, including Nobel laureate in physics Kip Thorne of California, appeared to share their understanding and expectations for the future of personalized health management. This is the world's first mixed-use museum for nutrition-related education and recreation.

The concept of promoting nutritional knowledge through relaxing interactive games was originally introduced by Guangdong By-Health Biotechnology, a leading Chinese dietary supplement company. The Zhuhai facility is now part of the By-Health Transparent Factory industrial tourist attraction, which is accessible with free admission.

To make visits intriguing and meaningful, cutting-edge data processing, analyzing, testing, and multi-media technologies are applied at the Cloud Health Center, Children's World, Art Space, and other areas. A highlight is "Foreseeing 2050," an immersive science interactive experience showing the details of sleep, diet, psychology, physical fitness, etc.

For example, those wearing a "smart bracelet" provided by working staff get a physical report after playing games that test body coordination, reactions, and other abilities.

Cloud Health Center has big data processing systems, high-end health testing equipment, and professional dietitians, which create a new experience of health management. Visitors can enjoy eight services, including genetic testing, mental stress analysis, and chronic disease risk assessment.

There are also "smart tables" at which to assess whether the nutrition is balanced and give professional advice according to the food visitors choose to sample on a touch screen.

There also is an area at which to "visit" By-Health's global nutrient raw material production bases using virtual reality equipment. The experience is technically well-supported.

Children's World is for kids between 6 and 12 years old to have relaxing game experiences.
