Unobstructed sidewalks for those with physical challenges are the goal as 49 public bicycle rental points in downtown areas have been closed and will soon be demolished.

City Bike stations slated for demolition are at the Zhuhai Culture, Sports & Tourism Bureau (珠海文体旅游局), Social Insurance Service Window (社保服务窗口), and Zhuhai Justice Bureau (市司法局) on Hongshan Road in New Xiangzhou; and Gong'an Village bus stop (公安村巴士站), Police Activity Center (警察活动中心), and East & Central Meijie Road (梅界路东、中) in the same area. Sites also listed are at South Shuiwan Road (水湾路南) in Gongbei, Lianhuashan Residential Area (莲花山) off Jiuzhou Avenue, and Jilian Market (吉莲市场) on Jilian Road in Jida.

In the meantime, Zhuhai Urban Construction City Bike is running a summer-heat endurance test on a new-type public bicycle. It is said that the model can be returned to places without parking poles, which should avoid sidewalk congestion and rationalize the use of bicycle parking stations. It will be promoted citywide after meeting all operational standards.
