Haibin Beach music bash now set after Golden Week
Ticket sales opened on Sept 17 for the annual 2019 Shark Music Festival at Haibin Beach (City Parlor) that will attract thousands of young people to Jida on Oct 19 and 20, instead of beginning on National Day as in the past.
Last year, the October 1 national Golden Week holiday saw 2.5 million visitors to popular scenic spots, cultural sites, and carnival attractions in Zhuhai, an increase of 20.4 percent over 2017. The numbers included those at the increasingly popular Shark Music Festival.
This time, another electric mix of rap, rock ‘n roll, and folk songs is scheduled. Gai, Tizzy-T, AIR, VAVA, KIV, and others perform at a Hip-hop Party on Saturday. On the 20th, folk singer Chen Hongyu, Fine, and Diagon Alley will rock the stage.
