Physical fitness enthusiasts are being invited to explore Zhuhai's picturesque coastal scenery, vibrant development, and close ties with Macao in a 30-km (19-mile) hiking activity on Nov 23.

The route starts from Wu Shunde International Academic Exchange Center at the Zhuhai Campus of Sun Yat-sen University in Tangjiawan and ends at the Zhuhai-Macao boundary crossing facilities of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) south of Gongbei Bay.

Along the way, participants will take in Fenghuang Bay Beach, Meili Bay, Yeli Island (Zhuhai Opera House), Xianglu Bay, Jingshan Park, Haibin Park, the Fisher Maiden statue, City Parlor, Haibin Beach, and HZMB Zhuhai Port.

Stamps can be collected at the Sun Yat-sen University International Exchange Center, Sea & Sky (Haitian) Rest Station Park, Yeli Island, Love Post Office, and the bridge island entrance. Supplies will be on offer at Yinkeng and Xianglu Bay.

Applications can be made at WeChat account: zhuhaifabu (珠海发布) starting at 10 am on Nov 12. Every participant will receive the mascot Zhuzhu, a sports backpack, drinking water, and memorial brochure about the collectible stamps. Those who finish the trip will also be given a commemorative medal.  

The event is hosted by Zhuhai Media Group under guidance of the Department of Culture & Publicity of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao SAR, Publicity Department of the CPC Zhuhai Municipal Committee, and Macao Foundation. Zhuhai Huafa Industrial Share is the title sponsor.
