Eleven pairs of Zhuhai-Guangzhou South daily bullet trains have extended runs mostly to Foshan West and a few to Zhaoqing East railway stations to meet travel demands throughout Dec 29, according to the Intercity MRT Zhuhai Station.

Foshan is in the mid-south of Guangdong Province. It borders Guangzhou in the east and Zhongshan to the south. Foshan West Railway Station has high-speed trains serving Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Chongqing, Nanning, Kunming, and elsewhere. It is located about 35 km northwest of Guangzhou South Station.

Known as the hometown of martial arts, Foshan actively promotes Lingnan and Guangfu cultures. Famous attractions include Foshan Ancestral Temple, Qinghui Garden, and Ancient Nanfeng Kiln.

Located in the midwest of Guangdong Province along the Xijiang River and bordering Foshan and Jiangmen, Zhaoqing is a well-known tourism destination featuring Seven Star Rock and Dinghu Mountain. It is also known for the production of Duanzhou inkstones, one of the four Treasures of the Study in China. Zhaoqing East Railway Station is farther west of Foshan and 114 km from Guangzhou South Station.
