Updated: 2020-02-05

Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao (HZM) Bridge shuttle bus and Jiuzhou Port ferryboat runs have been partially suspended to help contain the novel coronavirus outbreak.

Service has been curtailed on all intracity express lines at HZMB Zhuhai Port except that the Gongbei line will maintain 60 shifts daily. The Novotown (Hengqin) and Guangzhou Business Express lines have also been halted, while intermodal service between Zhuhai and Hong Kong downtowns via the bridge has been suspended since Feb 1.

Since Tuesday, Feb 4, ferry service from Jiuzhou Port in Jida to downtown Hong Kong has ceased. The SAR government has closed Hong Kong-Macao Ferry Terminal and Luohu, Futian, and Huanggang ports. However, ferryboats from Jiuzhou Port to SkyPier Ferry Terminal at Hong Kong International Airport in Chek Lap Kok continue to depart at 8:40 am, 12:40 pm and 3:40 pm, while return trips sail at 10:20 am, 2:15 pm and 5:20 pm.

In addition, passengers bound for Shekou Ferry Terminal in Shenzhen can board at 9 am, 10:30 am, 3 pm, and 5:30 pm, and return at 9 am, 10:30 am, 3 pm, and 4:30 pm. Trips to Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport are available at 11:50 am and 3:05 pm, while right-about ferries are scheduled at 10:20 am and 1:20 pm.

Alternatively, Hong Kong-bound motorists may still use HZMB Zhuhai or Shenzhen Bay ports. Container truck clearance is not affected.

Other ferry services from Jiuzhou Port have been halted. Travelers should follow WeChat account jzgkyz for the latest information.
