Zhuhai confirmed another novel coronavirus pneumonia (NCP) case, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the city to 87 by the end of Feb 11, according to the latest figures released by the Health Commission of Guangdong Province on Feb 12.

Among the 87 patients, 17 have been cured and 70 are under medical treatment in hospital.

The 39-year-old newly confirmed male patient is a family member of a patient confirmed on Feb 4 and has since been under medical observation in Jinwan District, where he mainly stayed after being infected. He is reported to have traveled to Vietnam by cruise between Jan 19 and 24.

All people in close contact with the patient have been tracked and are under medical observation.
