More buses back on the road as enterprises reopen
Public bus services across the city were restored on Monday primarily to transport people to and from work in an orderly manner, according to the Zhuhai Public Transportation Group.
Currently, 187 of the 203 conventional bus routes have been restored. The number of operating vehicles and departure intervals are based on local epidemic-control situations and passenger demand, according to the operator. However, Buses 89, 411, 715, 826-3, Z262, Z268, L1, L3, L6, L7, Z13, Z17, 602, 602A, 609, and 826-1 as well as three customized "smart" lines are suspended until further notice.

The buses are equipped with infrared automatic thermometers and ultraviolet air purifiers. Passengers must wear masks, have their temperature checked before boarding, and avoid close contact with others when seated. The vehicles are cleaned after each shift and disinfected daily to prevent the spread of the virus.
For now, bus services at Gongbei Checkpoint (拱北口岸总站), Intercity MRT Zhuhai Station (城轨珠海站), and Zhuhai Boundary Crossing Hub (大桥口岸枢纽) terminals terminate at 10:15 pm daily, while the last buses for other routes depart at 10 pm.
To mitigate the novel coronavirus outbreak, the city's public transportation services had undergone shortened operating hours, lengthened intervals, and route suspensions starting Jan 27.
