Public parks cautiously reopening with stipulations
Xiangzhou parks will reopen to the public for the near term as the corona virus disease (COVID-19) outbreak comes increasingly under control, according to the district Urban Management & Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau.
Open times, however, may be shortened. Recreational facilities, service outlets, stores, and enclosed sports grounds will remain closed during the outbreak. Daily visitor volume will also be limited for continued epidemic prevention and control.

Visitors are required to wear protective masks, carry valid identity documents, and cooperate at body-temperature checks. Those with a temperature above 37.3 degrees Celsius will be forbidden from entry and have personal information registered.
Within the park, people are advised to keep more than 1 m (3 ft) from each other and avoid gathering. Spitting and littering are not permitted.
To protect visitors, all facilities will be sanitized thoroughly the day before reopening. Once operational, the parks will disinfect benches, fitness equipment, warehouses, and cleaning tools at least twice daily. Toilets will be ventilated and sanitized more than four times every day, as will garbage bins. Trash will be collected, transported, and disposed of properly mornings and afternoons.
Meanwhile, park staff will wear protective gear, have their temperatures taken twice daily, take breaks at different times, and have meals at more than 1 m from others.
