Nine pairs of Zhuhai-Guangzhou South bullet trains resume running from today through March 16, according to the 12306 official train ticket booking website.

The resumption is meant to meet recovery travel demands. Statistics from the Zhuhai Transport Bureau show that passenger throughput of the five intercity MRT stations in the city rose from 8,701 on March 6 to 14,795 on March 7.

After the adjustment, the frequency of trains between Zhuhai and Guangzhou South is scheduled about every 20 minutes during peak periods.

Passengers are advised to keep masks on and take other preventative measures, as the corona virus disease (COVID-19) outbreak has not yet come to an end.
