Zhuhai Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese & Western Medicine

Zhuhai Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese & Western Medicine, also known as Second People's Hospital, is located at Gongbei Xiawan Bay, adjacent to Macao. Founded in 1984, it is a third-grade comprehensive hospital and Zhuhai's only hospital of traditional Chinese and Western medicine, integrating medical treatment, precaution, health care, recovery, R&D and education. 

It encompasses four out-patient departments at Lianhua Road, Beijing Institute of Technology (Zhuhai), Zhuhai City Polytechnic, and Zhuhai College of Jilin University, respectively. The hospital passed appraisal of national baby friendly standards in 1994. It is also a teaching hospital for many medical colleges such as Southern Medical University, Zunyi Medical University and Baotou Medical College. 

The 800-bed hospital covers a total area of 44,000 sq m with a floorage of 68,000 sq m. It has gross assets of 600 million yuan ($88.31 million), and offers health care services for more than 800,000 patients in Zhuhai, Macao and Hong Kong annually.
