The outdoor swimming pool and children's water play area of the Zhuhai Sports Center will reopen Saturday, June 6 as temperatures rise and the COVID-19 pandemic wanes.

Open hours are 7-9 pm Monday to Thursday and 4-6 and 7-9 pm Friday to Sunday. The Sports Center is located on Hongshan Road in New Xiangzhou.

Four hundred tickets will be sold for each time period at 35 yuan ($5) and 25 yuan ($3.50) for children under 1.4 m (4.6 ft) tall. Visitors should reserve tickets at WeChat account "珠海市体育中心" (gh_c4c11407f4ff), or they may be sold out upon arrival.

If the venue is closed due to any reason the Sports Center will issue notification in advance and refund the ticket price (except when stormy weather occurs after the ticket-holder has entered the center).

Located near the Small South Gate, the standard pool is 50 m (164 ft) long and 25 m (82 ft) wide with gradually increasing depth from 1 m (3.3 ft) to 1.4 m (4.6 ft). In addition, there is a 1,000-sq-m (quarter-acre) water play area for children that is .4 m (1.3 ft) to .6 m (2 ft) deep, with colorful water game facilities.
