The computerized Xinhe Tangjiawan Coach Pick-up Station opened Sept 19, offering 57 shuttle bus trips to other Pearl River Delta cities from 7 am to 9 pm daily.

Air travelers can reach Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport in 2.5 hours via express lines there. A trip to the Guangdong Passenger Depot in Guangzhou's Yuexiu District or Qiaoshe Passenger Depot in Shenzhen's Luohu District currently costs as little as 35 yuan ($5).

Tickets can be purchased at self-service machines or on WeChat account ZHXH_CT. Riders must swipe their ID cards, and undergo a security check before boarding. The waiting lounge offers a relaxing atmosphere with paintings of Lovers Avenue, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, blue sky, and white clouds, as well as melodious music.

Also provided is easy transfer to other transport as the site is on Jinfeng Road, adjacent to Tangjiawan MRT Station, bus terminal, and parking lots.

A simplified version of a passenger depot, the pick-up station was set up by Zhuhai Public Transportation Group under the call of the Ministry of Transport. Such facilities feature more flexible locations that have dense passenger flows yet are not covered by traditional passenger depots.
