Hengqin International Tennis Center facilities are available at no cost 5-9 pm Thursdays and daylong Saturdays and Sundays through Jan 20 to promote "fitness for all" during the 2020 Hengqin Sports & Leisure Season.

Locals and Hong Kong and Macao residents may have complimentary use of Outdoor Courts 1 through 12, the club, parking lot, bathrooms, and locker rooms. The courts are on Hengqin Avenue near the University of Macau campus.

Reservations can be made a day in advance at WeChat account ZHUHAITENNIS. Bookings have grown considerably in the second half of this year, especially on Thursday nights. Huafa Sports, the operator, recorded more than 80,000 visits to the facility in 2019.

The tennis center reopened in March under epidemic prevention and control measures. The Zhuhai Amateur Tennis Tournament was held in June, and the national tennis team is now undergoing 30 days of training in preparation for the Tokyo Olympic Games.  

Since opening in 2015 the tennis center has empowered the local sports industry and economic development. In that time, Hengqin New Area has become an International Leisure Tourism Island.
