The lobby contains a yellow submarine with LED screens and a periscope to simulate real deep-ocean scenarios with dynamic effects, magical mirror for marine science education, and holographic projections of a silver beach and various marine creatures.
In addition, the gymnasium on the 27th floor offers dominant sea views. A 270-degree circular infinity pool with constant temperature will open soon on the 28th floor as an ideal spot to appreciate fireworks, sunsets, whale and shark projections, and the entire resort.
The hotel forms part of the upcoming 500,000-sqm (124-acre) world's largest indoor Chimelong Marine Science Park. Taking the shape of a giant vessel, the facility will have 10 themed zones and 5 km (3 miles) of tour routes, and accommodate 50,000 tourists. More than 100,000 of about 300 varieties of rare marine animals will be on display.
Highlighted is the world's largest acrylic glass window for aquatic exhibitions, weighing more than 1,000 tons. Expected to open this year, the park will conserve the world's largest population of manatees, living corals, and freshwater rays.
Chimelong has been working with global experts and organizations to elevate its scientific research and the salvation, conservation, and breeding level of rare marine species, according to Jiang Minling, general manager.
In addition, it is seeking to raise the awareness of teenagers in marine environment protection through exhibitions, education, and performances.
