With floorage of 370 sqm (3,983 sqft), the station comprises two buildings connected via a trestle. One contains a convenience store on the first floor and design shop selling cultural-creative souvenirs and water sport tickets on the second level. The other has a Panda Craft Beer Bar on the first story and an Illy Café on the second.
Guangdong Wanshan Archipelago Tourism Development, operator of the rest station, offers angling, canoes and kayaks, motorboats, paddle boards, water-floating blankets, banana boats, and drift sofa and duck-shape inflatable craft for watersports during Spring Festival.
Visitors will go to and from the water sports venue via speed boats after they purchase tickets, and there are discounted "B&B + water sport" packages, according to general manager Ke Ming.
In addition to the rest station, the newly opened Coastal Diners Street and unique island B&Bs will operate during the holiday.
Guishan is the nearest of the Wanshan Archipelago islands to downtown Zhuhai, and 50 minutes by ferry from Xiangzhou Port off Gangkou Road in Old Xiangzhou. There are six shifts daily during slack season, with the last run sailing from Xiangzhou Port at 6:30 pm and returning at 9 pm.
