The Nanping Campus of the Zhuhai Center for Chronic Disease Control will accept patients in July after interior furnishing and inspections are completed.

The facility is sited on 43,000 sqm (10.6 acres) at 166 Hezheng Road in Guangsheng Village of Nanping Town, Xiangzhou District. As a Grade-III Class-A specialized Zhuhai 3rd Renmin Hospital, it has floorage of 88,000 sqm (22 acres). The South Campus of Zhuhai Women's & Children's Hospital on Nanqin Road is nearby. 

The campus will assume administration and most medical functions of the Zhuhai Center for Chronic Disease Control. It will receive outpatients and up to 800 inpatients with psychosomatic disorders, and chronic and occupational diseases, while offering forensic appraisal of mental diseases.

Among other specialties are 12 new departments for children, adolescent, and senior psychiatry, affective disorders, rehabilitative physiotherapy, intensive care, and general surgery.

The chronic disease outpatient, inpatient, medical technology, administrative logistics, and comprehensive psychiatric medical treatment buildings will form a half-closed courtyard. There are mountain scenes to the east over large central green activity areas for patients and medical staff. Most of the wards face south and have ample daylight, good ventilation, and a dominant view of a central garden.

In addition, the complex will have a canteen, café, pharmacy, convenience store, library, parking lot for more than 1,000 vehicles, and open floors for recreational and rehabilitation facilities.

Once the new campus opens, the temporary inpatient department in Shangchong and West Wing Outpatient Department in Doumen will close. The Zijing and Xincun departments will be united as the Xiangzhou Outpatient Department for advanced treatment of skin diseases.
