The 6th Tangjiawan Food Carnival will have 80 stalls serving culinary delicacies from around the world, while offering 10 interactive games at Gree Coast Binhai Park from 9 am to 6 pm daily, May 1 and 2.

Seventeen community teams in the National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone (Tangjiawan) will bring five Tangjiawan Tea Refreshments, which will be subject to online voting, on-site sampling, and expert review.

In addition, visitors can learn from Liang Xirong, a representative inheritor of the Tangjiawan municipal intangible cultural heritage.

Provincial training centers and studios of Cantonese Cuisine Masters will have senior bakers and cooks provide stewed milk with pastry, puffs, red velvet cakes, and snowflake crisps, showcase carving skills, and teach onlookers how to prepare a traditional Zhuhai grand feast of nine dishes.

Catering brands Old Days, Qiwei Mutton Restaurant, Shengge Canteen, Yonghao Food, Yifang Taiwan Fruit Tea, and Wei Zhi Nong will offer Tangjiawan specialties and popular snacks.

Vietnamese pho, Indian naan bread, Turkish doner kebab, Korean tteok (rice cake), Shandong pancakes, Dalian squid, Shaanxi roujiamo (Chinese hamburger), Yunnan brown sugar, sugar-coated haws, and sugar painting will also be available.

Visitors can try on traditional Han clothing, have dyeing and virtual reality experiences, read food comics, and purchase souvenirs and cultural-creative products. Clown parades and real-life "roly-poly toy" and flash mob performances will be staged, and a dedicated zone will raise public awareness about garbage sorting.

The carnival is handled by the Hi-Tech Zone Cultural Center under the auspices of the Hi-Tech Zone Social Affairs Bureau. It has attracted more than 150,000 visitors since its inception in 2015. The official event logo will be released this year.
