Those in medical crisis can now summon an ambulance with merely one tap on the public WeChat account zhuhai-120 of the Zhuhai Medical Emergency Center.

Locals should register at the WeChat account to log personal information and medical history in advance. The ambulance dispatch platform will access the data upon receiving a call for help.

If callers are not able to specify their location, the platform can find them via cellphone GPS positioning and contact family members immediately for coordinated assistance.

The online platform is to greatly increase the efficiency of emergency rescue and ensure timely treatment of those experiencing sudden cardiac arrest, chest pains, or apoplexy.

Users can also inquire about registered ambulances and 120 service stations, or get 120 service prices and basic first aid advise.
