Zhuhai's clear skies, azure waters, and verdant hills were featured on the June 2 live program Guangdong Version of China Today on China Central Television (CCTV).

Picturesque coastal scenery, including the landmarks Zhuhai Opera House, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, and Hengqin Checkpoint, were presented to netizens and viewers during the two-hour program. Zhuhai's in-depth cooperation with Macao was quite evident.

The city's pulsating economic and social development was also presented by places like Xiangshan Marine Scientific & Technological Port in Tangjiawan and the Hengqin Comprehensive Service Center, which was established by the General Union of Neighborhood Associations of Macao. "Macao on the left hand and Hengqin on the right hand, everyone is integrated together, and they are all one family," said Tian Yi, service center director.

Clearly shown was the development of Hengqin from a bucolic island into a model of in-depth cooperation between Guangdong and Macao. As part of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Hengqin benefits people in Hong Kong and Macao in school enrollment, career selection, and medical insurance, noted the program's host.

Gao Yuting, assistant professor at the City University of Macau, has been living in Hengqin since 2017. It takes her 20 minutes to cross the border to get to work in Macao, and yet customs clearance takes 30 seconds. "Hengqin is a convenient and spacious place for me and my family to live in," says Gao on the program.
