Friendly Suwon ties shared in photos at Zhuhai Museum
A photography exhibition commemorating the 15th anniversary of the sister-city relationship between Zhuhai and Suwon, South Korea opened Aug 23 at the Zhuhai Museum & Planning Exhibition Hall and will run until Sept 19.
One hundred photos taken by Zhuhai and Suwon photographers, residents, and students are on display at the Lovers Avenue-Haihong Road site in Old Xiangzhou. They showcase socioeconomic development, spirituality, culture, historic profundity, and lifestyles of both cities.

In addition, an online exhibition can be viewed through Dec 31 at China Photo Network Online and at South Korea's gallery360 until an undetermined date.
Zhuhai Mayor Huang Zhihao and Suwon Mayor Yeom Tae-young issued congratulatory letters. Han Jae-heuk, consul general of South Korea in Guangzhou, and Li Chong, deputy mayor of Zhuhai, delivered speeches at the opening ceremony.
More than 70 officials from the Zhuhai Foreign Affairs Office, Bureau of Commerce, and Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism & Sports Bureau as well as representatives from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Zhuhai Sub-council and South Korean enterprises, and photographers attended the event.
Zhuhai and Suwon have enhanced mutual understanding and friendship through exchanges and cooperation in commerce, culture, tourism, and education since they became sister cities in 2006.
