Among 150 jobseekers present, 2.1 percent hold PhDs, 16.4 percent have master degrees, and 52.9 percent are college graduates. Administrative, finance, and market operation were popular posts, according to a person in charge at Zhuhai Da Heng Qin Development.
The Overall Construction Plan for the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin provides for Macao residents' life and employment convenience. The zone has preferential tax policies for domestic and foreign high-end and urgently-needed talents as well as personnel entry-exit privileges. Macao professionals with overseas experience and young people are encouraged to work in the zone and live in thousands of apartments while enjoying Macao-style education, medicine, and other public social services.
The newly established cooperation zone has abundant job opportunities for young professionals. Working in Hengqin provides more choices and also a broader space to grow, observed Luo Kaijing, a graduate of the University of Macau.
Serving Hengqin's quest to become an industry and talent highland, more events on a larger scale and higher level will be held to attract domestic and overseas talents, according to Mu Baijun of Zhuhai Hengqin Elites Human Resource Services. A national offshore innovation and entrepreneurship base is being constructed in Hengqin for high-caliber overseas talents that are urgently needed, Mu added.
