"Zhuhai Biopharma" was widely promoted as a trademark during last weekend's China Medical & Health Brand Exhibition in Macao as Zhuhai enterprises expanded into Portuguese-speaking and Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) markets.

Enterprises from Jinwan National Foreign-Trade Transformation & Upgrade Biomedicine Base distributed publicity and displayed billboards demonstrating Zhuhai's outstanding biomedical enterprises and industrial innovation capabilities. Among them were United Laboratories, Kinhoo Pharmaceutical, Rundu Pharma, Livzon Pharmaceutical Group, Keyu Bio, and Aafud Industry (Zhuhai).

The event, themed "Join hands with the traditional Chinese medicine big-health industry to support the Healthy China 2030 Initiative," was held at Cotai Expo Hall for the first time. Exhibition areas displayed the latest outcomes in TCM, big health, scientific innovation, industrial integration, and interactive experiences. Forums were held on trade cooperation, innovative R&D, and "smart" manufacturing. 

Macao is a hub city in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It has advantages in flexible policies, abundant TCM resources, industrial environment, and sufficient high-caliber talents suitable for the growth of TCM and big-health industries, said Wu Zhengping of the Ministry of Commerce (MOC). 

According to the Overall Development Plan for Construction of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, brand industries such as TCM promote the moderate diversification of Macao's economy. Quality exhibitions and conferences in Macao are meant to do just that while increasing industrial and academic cooperation with the Chinese mainland and between China and the rest of the world.
