Toll collections are imminent on the Honghe Bridge for vehicles with fewer than nine seats to be charged 5.79 yuan (91 cents) to cross between Xiangzhou's Nanwan Urban Area and Jinwan's Aviation New Town. Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) device holders will continue to cross toll-free next year.
Standard tolls on the Hezhou-Gaolan Port Expressway were approved Dec 28 by the Guangdong Department of Transportation, pending acceptance of the Honghe Bridge, new expressway, and ancillary facilities (including toll network testing).
