Jingwan Station is located north of Big Hengqin Mt and west of Hengqin Avenue. With floorage of 15,065 sq m (3.7 acres), its total steel structure weighs 2,500 metric tons. Advanced construction techniques and environmentally-friendly materials will be used to ensure construction quality. It will feature a modern architecture design consisting of abstract depictions of sea waves and ripples.
Phase II of the Zhuhai Airport Urban Rail Transit line will include Jingwan, East Sanzao, and Zhuhai (Jinwan) Airport stations. It starts from Hengqin Chimelong Station, goes west through Big Hengqin Mt, and over Modaomen and Baiteng River waterways before arriving at Jinwan's Sanzao Town.
With a designated speed of 160 km/h (99.5 mph), passengers taking the direct train can reach the airport from Gongbei in about 15 minutes, while those taking common trains with stops on the way can complete the trip in half an hour.
Of note, space for commercial development at Jingwan Station on Hengqin Avenue and East Sanzao Station on East Jinhai Road will be reserved.
